Privacy & your data

PressHelm sends only what a task you asked for needs, only to PressHelm Cloud and your own AI provider, and keeps your secrets encrypted.

What goes where#

  • Your site → PressHelm Cloud: the results of actions you asked for (for example the text of a page you want edited), signed by your site.
  • PressHelm Cloud → your AI provider: the conversation and those results, so the model can do the task. Your provider’s own privacy terms apply; with OpenAI, PressHelm asks it not to store conversations.
  • Secrets: AI keys and bot tokens are encrypted in your vault; passwords, keys and tokens in logs are masked before the AI sees them; email recipients are masked in mail logs.

Your controls#

  • Turn areas off in Permissions & security.
  • Delete notes PressHelm remembers (“forget …”).
  • Disconnect a site or an app at any time.
