Files, imports & exports

Send files in your chat and PressHelm uses them: photos to the media library, data files to a private file box for imports, and exports sent back to you.

Sending files#

• Photos go straight to the media library when you ask.
• CSV, JSON, XML, ZIP, Excel, Word go to a private file box on your site: closed to the web, kept for 7 days. Scripts and programs are refused.
• Files up to 20 MB from Telegram; bigger files by link (GitHub and Dropbox share links work).

Imports#

• Content: import a WordPress export (XML) with a preview first; the whole import can be undone.
• Products: CSV imports for WooCommerce, previewed and undoable (see WooCommerce).

Exports and ZIPs#

Export content or products, make a ZIP of a theme or of uploads, and get the file sent back to you in Telegram.
