AI costs & spend limits
You pay your own AI provider directly, with no markup. PressHelm shows the estimated cost of everything and stops at the limits you set.
Two different things#

/usagein Telegram.- PressHelm → Activity → Usage and cost in WordPress: today, this month, by model, with estimated cost.
Costs are estimated from each provider’s published prices (OpenRouter reports its exact charge). Your provider’s own bill is the final word.
Spend limits#
In PressHelm → Settings → Spend limit, set a daily and a monthly limit in dollars (or a daily token limit). When a limit is reached, PressHelm stops using your AI until the next day or month (UTC) and tells you in Telegram. An image that would take you over the limit is refused before anything is spent.
A typical small task uses a handful of actions and costs a few cents of AI, depending on your model.
