Categories & tags
Keep your categories, tags and product categories tidy: create, rename, move, merge and delete them, with posts, child categories and menu links following along.
What you can do#
| Action | Details |
|---|---|
| List | Every taxonomy with an admin screen (categories, tags, product categories, custom ones), with post counts. |
| Create | Name, slug, description, parent. Runs at once; undo removes it. |
| Rename / move | Name, slug, description or parent. A new slug changes the address; the card warns you. |
| Delete | Posts lose it (posts left without a category go to the default one); child terms move up; menu links are removed. The default category cannot be deleted. |
| Merge | Posts, child terms and menu links of the merged terms move to the one you keep; the others are deleted. |
Undo of a delete or merge brings the terms back with the same ids, their posts, child terms, extra data and menu links.
