Pages, posts & content
Write, edit and publish; duplicate pages; change many posts at once; edit single blocks; restore earlier revisions; and keep menus, SEO and settings tidy.
Write and edit#
PressHelm creates and edits posts and pages in the block editor’s own format, so they open normally in WordPress. It can change one block without touching the rest of the page, and checks the blocks are still valid afterwards.
Duplicate a page or post#
Copies the content, template, featured image, categories and tags, and page-builder data. The copy is a draft unless you say otherwise. Undo moves the copy to the trash.
Change many at once#
Up to 100 posts or pages in one approval: status (publish, draft, private, pending, trash), comments on or off, page template, parent page, sticky posts, and adding or removing categories and tags. Items that cannot be changed are listed and left alone. One undo puts every item back.
Status → trash (moved to the trash; visitors no longer see them)
- Recovery: one undo puts every item back
Revisions#
PressHelm lists a page’s earlier revisions and restores one on request (“put back the version from last Tuesday”).
Menus, templates and styles#
- Menus: create menus, add, move, rename and remove items, assign menu locations.
- Block themes: read and update templates and template parts, and global styles (colours, fonts, spacing).
- Additional CSS: add to it or replace it, with approval and undo.
Find text anywhere#
Search across content, custom fields and options to find where a phone number, a price or a sentence appears, then fix it in place. For site-wide replacements see Find & replace.
