Plans for bigger jobs
For work with many steps, PressHelm proposes a plan. You approve it once, it carries out the steps, and one “undo this task” reverses everything.
How a plan works#
You ask for something big#
“Set up a landing page for the autumn workshop with a form and a menu link.”
PressHelm proposes the steps#
Each step with what it changes. Steps that depend on earlier ones show their target and are filled in as it goes.
You approve once#
The approved steps run without asking again, for the next 2 hours. Anything outside the plan still asks you.
One receipt, one undo#
“Undo this task” puts every step back, newest first.
Build an autumn workshop landing page with a sign-up form, and add it to the main menu.
Approval needed: plan (4 steps)
1. Create page “Autumn Workshop” (draft)2. Create form “Workshop sign-up” (WPForms)
3. Add the form to the page
4. Add the page to “Main menu”
- Recovery: undo this task puts every step back
